UAI

uai.com

UAI was founded in 1994 with a vision to develop enterprise software solutions for local, state and federal agencies. This overall vision was to provide software solutions replacing manual, paper-based business processes to improve daily operations, decision-making and ultimately improving the quality of life for local citizens.

Any city, to serve citizens effectively and efficiently, requires exchange of necessary information from the mayor's office to police, fire, EMS, EMA, correction officers, and other agencies. In addition, harbors and airports, power plants, public health entities, and private enterprises such as banks and hotels must exchange information to improve daily operations.

UAI's uaOneLink™ modules answer the demand of each for emergency operations center (EOC), incident command and control (ICC), digital visualization, first responders and other mobile workforces, mass alerting, offender tracking, management reporting, and executive dashboards. uaOneLink™ is the most comprehensive tool available to link all governmental entities, and ultimately the citizens they serve and protect.

Case Study - Puerto Rico Statewide Public Safety Platform

UAI provides Puerto Rico State public safety agencies, including DHS, EMA, fire, police, and public health with web-based incident tracking, management reports, executive dashboards, and necessary personnel and equipment information. UAI has implemented a turnkey integrated system serving over 4 million citizens. UAI integrated the following governmental agencies:

  • DHS: FusionCenter

  • EMA: 11 regional and 78 local offices

  • State Police: 13 Zones

  • Fire: 13 regional offices

  • City: 55 mayors, police and EMS

  • Public Health: 8 zones and 67 hospitals to be cascading to CDC, harbor, airports, police, fire, and EMS for emergency coordination.

Case Study - Puerto Rico Department of Public Health (PRDOH)

UAI provided a software solution that allows hospitals, clinics, and doctors offices of all sizes throughout the island to communicate healthcare information with Puerto Rico Department of Public Health (PRDOH) and with the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) Public Health Information Network (PHIN). Cascading alerts are sent and received via UAI's uaOneLink™ solution to mobile phones, PDAs, email, and other media.

Case Study - U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

UAI designed, implemented, and is currently hosting four separate applications for three HUD departments that include offices in every state as well as in excess of 350 non-governmental organizations utilizing a web based tracking system with reporting for users and management. UAI is providing the hosting and 24/7 helpdesk for all four applications and was responsible for generating all training manuals and programs.

UAI conducted in person, web-based and train the trainer sessions at HUD’s request. The newest training required the production of a training video accessible via the web that is currently used for training all system users in the HUD single family home non-profit program area. HUD’s UAI hosted service meets all Federal Government security guidelines and receives an average of over 3.5 million hits per month. UAI designed and currently hosts for HUD a public website integrating information from various HUD agencies.
